Resolution
Check Power Supply for possible power outage
- Ensure the dryer is properly plugged in.
- Test the outlet with another device (i.e. table lamp) to confirm it’s working.
- Check the circuit breaker or fuse box for any tripped switches.
Inspect the Door
- Make sure the door is fully closed. Most dryers won’t start if the door isn’t securely shut.
- Check for any damage or misalignment in the door latch.
Control Panel or Buttons blocked
- Try pressing the power/start button firmly.
- If the panel is unresponsive, check for a child lock (padlock symbol on display) feature that may be activated.
- Disable the child lock by pressing and holding the indicated button or button combination for 3–5 seconds.

Reset the Dryer
- Unplug the dryer for 30 seconds, then plug it back in.
Check the Settings
- Ensure a drying cycle is selected.
- Make sure that Delay Start mode is not activated.
Overheating Protection
- If the dryer overheated previously, it may have triggered a safety shut-off. Let it cool down for 30–60 minutes before trying again.
Filter and Condenser Check
- Clean the lint filter and the condenser. Refer to the article: Cleaning dryer filter and condenser.
- Poor airflow can prevent the dryer from operating properly.
Error Codes
- If the display shows an error code or warning symbol, refer to the user manual for its meaning and recommended action.
