How to reset the Wi-Fi network settings on my Electrolux washing machine?
Issue
Your Electrolux washing machine is already connected to a Wi-Fi network, but you want to:
- connect the machine to a new WiFi network
- change router
- change Wi-Fi password
- register the appliance on a new phone
- remove the connection to the app
- troubleshoot Wi-Fi connection issues
In these cases, it may be necessary to reset the saved WiFi settings.
Applies to
- Electrolux washing machines with Wi-Fi connection
Resolution
Follow the steps below to reset the saved WiFi settings on your Electrolux washing machine.
1. Turn on the washing machine
Press the On/Off button, and wait about 10 seconds for the machine to be ready for setup.
2. Remove the saved Wi-Fi details
Hold down the same buttons that are used for Wi‑Fi setup of the product.
Keep holding the buttons down until you hear the second beep. A reset message will then appear on the display.
The saved network information is now being deleted from the washing machine.
Refer to the user manual for details specific to your model.
3. Reconnect the washing machine
Once the reset is complete, the washing machine must be reconnected to the app.
- Open the Electrolux app.
- Select Add product.
- Follow the instructions in the app.
- Put the washing machine into Wi-Fi setup mode.
- Connect it to your Wi-Fi network.

4. Check the Wi-Fi network
Electrolux washing machines support:
- 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi
- IEEE 802.11 b/g/n
The connection typically cannot be established on networks that only use 5 GHz frequency.
Important
When the Wi-Fi settings are reset:
- delete the existing WiFi connection
- delete saved network information
- the washing machine needs to be registered in the app again
Wash programmes and other product settings are not affected.
When is it not a mistake?
It is normal to reset the Wi-Fi settings if:
- you have changed router
- you have changed the WiFi name (SSID)
- you have changed your password
- you have got a new phone
- the washing machine is shown as offline in the app
- the app can no longer find the product
The problem is often due to changes in the network and not a fault with the washing machine.
Cause
The Electrolux washing machine stores information about the WiFi network it has previously been connected to.
If the router, network name or password is changed, the connection to the app may be interrupted.
A reset removes the stored network information so the product can be connected again from scratch.
