Before any repair or maintenance operation, deactivate the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the socket.

Only adults should use or install the product.
Before any maintenance operation, turn off water supply to the appliance. Always empty the appliance of all the water. Any maintenance should be carried out with the appliance standing upright. Residual water could damage electronics if the appliance is placed on any of its sides.
Make sure to use the product only for its designated purpose and verify that it is a compatible part for the intended product.
Do not use or install the product if damaged.
Please note that self-repair or nonprofessional repair can have safety consequences if not done properly and might void the warranty. Possessing the necessary know-how is essential.
HOW TO REPLACE VENTILATOR
1. Unscrew the two PH2 screws on the back of the lid.


2. Slide the top panel to the rear of the appliance, whilst lifting to release the top panel.

3. Unscrew the four 7mm screws on the heating element air duct.

4. Using a flat blade screwdriver carefully prise the heating element air duct away from the crossbar.


5. Use a flat blade screwdriver to prise the heating element air duct away from the dryer fan.

6. Unscrew the 8mm screw holding the ventilator to the body of the washing machine.

7. Lift the ventilator out of the appliance and away from the condenser duct. NOTE: Ensure that the ventilator is fully connected during installation (there may be a 7mm jubilee clip holding the hose to the ventilator).

8. Carefully disconnect wiring connectors from the fan motor spades. (Note: Take a photo of the wiring positioning/location before disconnecting) Be careful not to damage the connectors.

9. Unhook the fan belt from the ventilator and fan motor.


10. Unscrew the three 8mm screws for the fan motor to release and remove from the ventilator.

11. Carefully remove the gasket from the ventilator.

12. When assembling, repeat steps in reverse order.
