Before any repair or maintenance operation, deactivate the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the socket.

Only adults should use or install the product.

Always empty the appliance of all the water, e.g. tumble dryer water container. Any maintenance should be carried out with the appliance standing upright. Residual water could damage electronics if the appliance is placed on any of its sides.

Make sure to use the product only for its designated purpose and verify that it is a compatible part for the intended product.

Do not use or install the product if damaged.

HOW TO REPLACE DRIVE BELT

1. Unscrew the Torx 20 screw in the condenser drawer housing. Then unscrew the two Torx 20 screws on the back of the appliance lid and slide back to release.

2. Unscrew the eight Torx 20 screws on the back of the appliance side panels and the four Torx 20 screws on the top of the side panels

3. To remove the side panels pull the panels up and away from the body of the machine to release the panels from the securing tabs at the bottom and on the side.

4. NOTE: When reinstalling slot the side panel into the three bottom tabs and the three side tabs to ensure the panels are flush with the body of the appliance.

5. Unscrew the two Torx 20 screws for the capacitor and wiring housing, then pull towards you to release.

6. Twist the motor backwards to stretch the retaining spring, whilst simultaneously pulling the belt off of the motor shaft to release the drive belt.

7. NOTE: If the old belt is still attached and not snapped, cut the old belt and remove, whilst it is not under tension.

8. Unscrew the eighteen Torx 20 screws around the fan cover to release. (NOTE: Ensure that the gasket for the fan cover is correctly positioned during reinstallation)

9. Undo the fan blade and pull towards you to release. Unscrew the six Torx 20 screws at the top of the back panel.

10. Pull up the condenser hoses to release them from the pump housing, then remove the hoses from the support clips.

11. Undo the jubilee clip for the condenser hose and pull it off the spout.

12. Pull up the condenser hoses to release them from the pump housing, then remove the hoses from the support clips.

13. Pull the back panel towards you and then up (to release the two lugs from the basement housing) to release the back panel. (NOTE: When reassembling check that the drum turns by hand to ensure you have fitted the back panel correctly).

14. Once the back of the drum is exposed, slide the new belt around the drum and push it to the middle.

15. When assembling, repeat steps in reverse order. (NOTE: Ensure drum is properly connected to the front and rear seal as well as sitting on all four of the roller wheels under the drum).
