1. Disconnect the vacuum cleaner from the mains and let it cool down.
If the vacuum cleaner stops suddenly, the filters should be checked to make sure that they are not blocked or that they require changing. This applies to both bagged and bagless models. Also, check if the nozzle or hose is blocked.
Clogged filters can affect the suction ability of your vacuum cleaner. Cleaning and replacing your filters regularly will help to maintain performance of your machine.
We recommend that filters should be replaced at least twice a year, or when they become visibly soiled.
You can buy original replacement filters in our online shop.

2. Replace the bag if necessary; a red LED alerts you when the S-bag® is full and must be changed.
S-bag® is available in different materials to fit your needs and to optimise your vacuum cleaner performance: Classic Long Performance, Anti-Allergy, Anti-Odour and Ultra Long Performance.
You can buy original replacement S-bags® in our online shop.
For optimum performance, bags should be changed regularly and filters should be changed with every 4th vacuum bag change. All filters should be replaced at least twice a year or when they become visibly soiled. The use of non-genuine s-bag® vacuum bags may adversely affect the performance of your vacuum cleaner.
3. Let the vacuum cleaner cool down for 30 minutes before plugging it in again.
4. If the vacuum cleaner still does not work, contact an authorized AEG service centre.
