Oven displays error message C1 ,C2, C3, C4
Issue
- My oven shows error codes C1, C2, C3 or C4 on the display
Resolution
C1 - This means that the Telescopic Rails (Pictured below) have not been removed before running the Pyro Clean Setting

To resolve this: Remove the telescopic rails, the shelves and the removable side rails from the oven (these can be washed separately with a soft cloth and mild detergent). Activate the Pyro Clean setting with the shelves and accessories removed.
For more information on removing the Telescopic Runners and Side Rails please visit this article: How To Remove Oven Shelf Supports For Cleaning
C2 - This means that the cooking thermometer (Food Sensor) is in the connector during the pyrolytic treatment.

To resolve this; Disconnect the food sensor from the oven (the socket is on the top right inside the oven, pictured below). Once this has been disconnected the Pyro Clean Setting can be run.
C3 - This means that the door is open, or slightly open while trying to activate the Pyro Clean Setting.
To Resolve this: Ensure the oven door is closed before activating the Pyro Clean Setting.
C4 - This means that the Steam Bake Button is activated while trying to run the Pyro Clean setting. You will know the Steam Bake button is activated as the small light in the button will be lit.
To Resolve this: Press the Steam Bake Button to disengage it (the light in the Steam Bake button will turn off). The Pyro Clean setting can now be activated.
If the error code that is displayed on your oven is not shown in the information above, you can find further information in the troubleshooting section of your user manual.
If the problem persists, we recommend requesting a visit by a service engineer.
