How to dry a down jacket?
Issue
- Selecting the right drying programme to suit your garments.
- Drying down jackets
- On which programme should I dry down jackets in a tumble dryer?
Resolution
To dry outerwear with down filling, select the "Duvet" programme. This programme is specially designed for drying both duvets and jackets with down filling. It can also be used to dry items filled with feathers or synthetic fibres. In this case, the dryer will gently tumble the garments, ensuring even heat distribution and effective drying. The Duvet programme is the ideal choice for those who want to care for their down outerwear while preserving its quality and durability.
WARNING!
Remember to check the maximum load allowed for the drying programme. The maximum load for the Duvet programme is usually 3 kg.
You can find a detailed description of the programme in the user manual.
Always check the drying symbols on the garment’s care label.
Cause
An inappropriate programme and failure to follow the drying instructions on the label may cause permanent damage to or shrinking of the garment.
