Before using your Electrolux tumble dryer for the first time
Resolution
Before using your Electrolux tumble dryer for the first time, follow a few initial steps to ensure proper usage.
Prepare for first use
- Make sure the drum is empty
- Clean the inside of the tumble dryer with a damp cloth
- Put damp laundry in the drum
- Run a 1-hour programme
NOTE: At the beginning of the drying cycle (first 3-5 min) there could be a slightly higher sound level. This is due to the compressor starting up. This is normal for compressor powered appliances such as refrigerators and freezers.

Tips and tricks
- Child Lock: Turn on the child lock to prevent children from playing with the appliance. The child lock option locks all touch buttons and the programme dial. Please refer to the user manual to check how this is done for your model.
- End Signal: The acoustic signal sounds at the following: cycle end and, start and end of the crease guard phase. The acoustic signal is by default always on. You can use this option to activate/deactivate the sound.
- Stacking kit: Allows you to install your tumble dryer above the washing machine, creating more room as they are stored vertically. The Stacking Kit is suitable for Electrolux front-loading washers and dryers with a 52 cm to 67 cm depth.
