    Before any repair or maintenance operation, deactivate the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the socket.

    Always take care when moving appliances. For heavy appliances it's safest for two persons to move it. Always use safety gloves and safety footwear. Wear safety gloves at all times to protect from cuts from sharp edges.

    Only adults should use or install the product.

    Always empty the appliance of all the water, e.g. tumble dryer water container. Any maintenance should be carried out with the appliance standing upright. Residual water could damage electronics if the appliance is placed on any of its sides.

    Make sure to use the product only for its designated purpose and verify that it is a compatible part for the intended product.

    Do not use or install the product if damaged.

    Please note that self-repair or nonprofessional repair can have safety consequences if not done properly and might void the warranty. Possessing the necessary know-how is essential.

    HOW TO REPLACE ELECTRIC VALVE

    1. Unscrew the six PH2 screws on the lid.

    2. Slide the top panel to the rear of the appliance, whilst lifting to release the top panel.

    3. Unscrew and remove the inlet hose (NOTE: Water must be turned off, ensure you have something to catch any residual water in the hose). Replace the gasket in the inlet hose with the one supplied with the valve.

    4. Carefully unclip the wiring connectors from the inlet valve. Be careful not to damage the wiring connector.

    5. Use a small flat blade screwdriver to carefully prise open the clips on either side of the valve housing.

    6. Use a small flat blade screwdriver to carefully prise open the power cable holder and remove the power cable from the valve housing.

    7. Using pliers, squeeze and remove the jubilee clips holding the hoses to the valve body (NOTE: ensure the jubilee clips are straight and well fastened during reinstallation)

    8. Carefully pull the internal fill hoses away from the valve body to release the electric valve.

    9. Using a flat bladed screwdriver carefully prise the valve and valve connector away from its housing.

    10. Slide the valve support clip up to release the clip from the valve body.

    11. When assembling repeat steps in reverse order.
