How to get started with your Electrolux portable air conditioner

Before using your Electrolux air conditioner for the first time, follow the steps below.

For more information about your specific air conditioner model, check the user manual. Make sure you set up the air conditioner according to the instructions and read the safety precautions.

1. Choose a location

Place the unit on a flat surface, close to a window, so warm air can be directed outside. Make sure there is at least 50 cm of clear space around all sides of the unit.

2. Download the app

The Electrolux app lets you control your portable air conditioner from any location.

Download the app in the App Store or Google Play. If you are a first-time user, you will have to create an account. Sign in and follow the instructions to connect your air conditioner.

Once connected, you will see the WiFi icon on your unit light up.

Note: Some units may not be able to connect to the app. Check the user manual for your particular model.

Install the Window Kit for optimal performance (optional)

Boost your air conditioner’s efficiency with the optional Window Kit. The kit creates a reliable seal to keep warm air out, cooling the room quicker and using less energy.

The Window Kit works with portable air conditioners, using a 15 cm diameter hose and side-hinged windows that open inwards.
